Five rivers.
One mission.
Five rivers. Five expeditions. Hiking, kayaking, and cycling thousands of kilometres from source to sea. All for one reason.
Five rivers.
One family's story.
In 2023, Sam's wife Nikki was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. What followed was fear, uncertainty — and a decision to turn that into something meaningful.
Source2Sea is five multi-discipline river expeditions — hiking, kayaking, and cycling from source to sea — raising funds for the MS Society, the charity that supported his family from day one.
The River Severn was completed in September 2025. Next: the River Rhone, departing 14 September 2026.
Five rivers. Source to sea.
Each expedition follows a river from its source to the sea — hiking, kayaking, and cycling the full length. Explore the routes, stats, and stories behind every journey on the expeditions page.
River Severn: How It Unfolded
